My name is Hunter. I’m a traveler, practicing Stoic, and author.

I recently made Colorado my new home after thirty years in the deep south.

About halfway through my history degree, I decided to take a short sabbatical from school to do some travel while I was still young enough to be reckless. A two-month excursion around the eastern Mediterranean blossomed into twelve years of satisfying my new addiction.

Initially, my love of storytelling instantiated in a series of travel journals I kept abroad. I began experimenting with fiction in my early-20s and was immediately taken with the process; the freedom of building worlds, characters, and stories that would relay lessons the world has taught me while dazzling readers with the same sense of awe I’ve felt exploring it.
